you’re back! some might think it’s great, some might think it’s horrible, but hey – i’m glad you’re back. we hope that you’re pumped for a new year. there have been some big things going on @ First Church this summer:
- we have a new pastor! Dr. Samuel Sheffler came to First Church on July 1 and seriously – he’s all that.
- the sanctuary has been going through some major renovations and our traditional services will be moving from the Life Center back to the Sanctuary as soon as it’s done in a few weeks
- we started our first college age Bible Study this summer. we met weekly @ the Coffee & Tea Room. pretty awesome. we’ll be starting some more regular small groups this year just for college students. stay tuned for more info.
Penn College students – come see us @ the Fall Fiesta on tues 08.26 on the ATHS mall lawn
Lyco students – we’re working on your involvement fair, too. at the very least, we’ll be hanging out there.
