welcome back to all of you students that are returning for the spring semester! college dinners will begin next Tuesday Jan. 20 @ Karl & Bethany’s home. this is open to all college students – just let us know by the day before if you’re coming so we can prepare enough food (drop a comment here or an email).
we’re looking forward to a great spring semester, and we’ve got some cool things planned for the coming months!

there will be NO dinner @ Karl & Bethany’s this Tuesday evening. you’ll have to suffer through the caf once more this week. sorry.
don’t forget to let us know if you’ll be in town over Thanksgiving next week. If you’re around, Gary & Cherie Moyer are inviting you to Thanksgiving dinner @ their house – and you don’t want to pass that one up. there also widely known as card sharks, so good times will definitely abound!

any of you read the Sun-Gazette, Williamsport’s newspaper? get your hands on a copy of the Region section from this past Sunday, Oct. 13. there’s a sweet article on this year’s Bald Eagle Mountin Megatransect Trail Challenge. the writer gives a shout out to Micah. you may recognize him from Penn College or helping run sound on the 11am A/V team here @ the church.
interested in a small group/Bible study?

I wanted to see if there was any interest in a small group/Bible study. I know a number of you are already in one, but I also know that there are a bunch of you that aren’t for any number of reasons – time isn’t convenient, you’ve never been in one before, will you be in a group with a bunch of weirdos…yeah, I know.
- Would you send me a quick email back if you fall into the group of “not in one, but possibly interested”?
Like you, I don’t have a bunch of afternoons/evenings free this semester, but this is what I was thinking. If yo’re interested, let me know if this is good for, or if another time would be better.

Peru

Bethany and I are off to peru in the morning for a week. i’m literally ready to walk out the door to drive to Baltimore. pray for us as we’re gone, as well as students getting ready to come back to Williamsport for the fall semester. becaue we’re gone, there will be no study this thursday.

due to a large portion of our crew helping at the church church with vacation bible school this week, there will be no bible study this thursday 7.24
we also won’t meet on 07.31 due to IMPACT. we’re taking 75 middle & high school students from wed. to sun. pray for us, that God would move in some big ways in the lives of our students and volunteers!
